Following her encounter with Ebony, Sonic and the Order of Magick, Blaze has found herself in a shanty town on the planet Drak. She is concerned with getting back to Mobius and senses a familiar feeling power nearby, but is quickly attacked by three cloaked assailants. She easily beats them back and they reveal that they were drawn to her by her flame abilities. One member of the group, Dax, explains their situation: They are resisting the House of Magic's rule, since they are only making life harder for the people of Drak, despite all their power, and the resistance want Blaze to help them break into the House of Magic.
