Ber'ok was one of a group of seven broken T'lan Imass also known as The Unbound. He was one of the Teblor's gods known as "The Seven Faces in the Rock". The Teblor called him 'Beroke Soft Voice'. He was so-called because his voice sounded like "a rough rasp through a crushed throat". He was described as having a twisted neck with his head leaning to one side. To look straight ahead, he was forced to turn his entire body.
