The USS Rachel Garrett was a Federation starship on active service with Starfleet in the early 25th century. Jaleh Khoroushi was assigned to Garrett in 2406, around the time her nephew Khorshid was born. (Bait and Switch: "Mhirrafv Terrhai, Part II") The Garrett is almost certainly named for Captain Rachel Garrett, CO of the USS Enterprise-C at the time of her destruction in 2344.
