The First Mission to Merrenat Naval Base was a recon mission for intact Imulsion fuel tanks. Hoping that the Stranded did not look over the whole base for all it's fuel, the remnant of the COG sent a marine recon team too Merrenat hoping to find fuel. Discovering the base was both abandoned by both the Locust Horde and Stranded and half the fuel tanks still had Imulsion in them.
