Degrassi (formerly titled, Degrassi: The Next Generation) is a Canadian teen drama television series on Canadian networks CTV (Seasons 1-8) and MuchMusic (Season 9-12) and MTV Canada (Season 13-14), Family Channel (Season 15- present) and in the United States, on TeenNick, previously, The Next Generation (Seasons 1-14) and Netflix worldwide (Season 15-Present) show deals with subjects familiar to teenagers, often controversial or taboo topics such as abortion and sexual orientation. This even led the show's American broadcaster, TeenNick, to censor some episodes due to the subject matter.
