In 2379, the Monet Room was the location at which Admiral William Ross forced former President Min Zife, Presidential Chief of Staff Koll Azernal, and Federation Secretary of Military Intelligence Nelino Quafina to resign from office at gunpoint. Ross later took responsibility for Section 31's subsequent assassination of the three, claiming to President Nanietta Bacco that he himself had killed the three in the Monet Room.
