Vyacheslav Alexeiovych "Slava" Shostakov (b. 13 September, 1975) was a German-Ukrainian pure-blood wizard who attended the Carpathian School of Magic from 1984 to 1994. Vyacheslav was the only child of Ukrainian wizard Alexei Shotakov and German witch Agna Shostakova (née Müller), both pure-bloods of high status in their respective home countries. While attending Carpathia, Vyacheslav was part of a group of wizards known simply as "the clique", and became infamous for their school antics and rivalry with a certain Romanian wizard; Mateo Maximoff. This clique consisted of him, Marius Iliescu and Dragomir Dumitru, the latter being their de facto leader.
