The Mirror of Seppun was gifted by Amaterasu herself to Seppun. It was one of the three most sacred relics of the Empire. The Miya guarded it in the Shrine of Amaterasu, built in the place Lady Sun appeared. The mirror was the reminder to the mortal world that the sun's light would never be far from their souls. When an Emperor was coronated, it was brought forth from its shrine, and officially given to the new Emperor, only to have it returned at the end of the ceremony.
