Kyril Natrom, using the code name VERTEX, was an agent of Imperial Intelligence under the Galactic Empire, the faction of Grand Admiral Zsinj, and later the Imperial Remnant. Little was known of his early life, other than the fact that he was born on Chandrila, a planet in the Core Worlds, a few years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Eventually he joined Imperial Intelligence, becoming a lieutenant by 0 ABY. Regarded by his superiors as being a skilled spy, Natrom was usually sent deep undercover for long periods of time without contact from the Empire, reporting once every month, or more frequently if important information was uncovered. Code name VERTEX was characterized by his cold, logical approach and merciless efficiency.
