Ghost Recon Phantoms is a free-to-play online multiplayer shooter set in the Ghost Recon Series. It was known as Ghost Recon Online during beta testing. Official release occurred on April 10, 2014. In 2013, a new mission series was launched centering around The Phantoms. With it changes from the beta include: * new "mod master" weapons * a new match making system * improvements to counter cheating * more "green-ping enabled countries" * revised character designs * revisions to maps * established back story
