Frank Percy Rider (4 March 1868 - 28 April 1950) was a building contractor and local politician in south London. Born in Lambeth, he took over the family business of T Rider and Sons, builders, based at Union Street, Borough. In 1916 he was elected Upper Warden of the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers, and in 1918 Master of the Worshipful Company of Tylers and Bricklayers. He was also Warden of the Great Account of the Corporation of the Wardens of St Saviour, a charity founded in 1540 to support residents of Southwark, and based at Southwark Cathedral. He died in 1950, aged 82.
