Mallarashtra was the name of a township on planet Deneva, as well as its surrounding province, located to the west of the Sibirian Mountains. It was apparently populated in large part by Humans from India and South Asia on Earth, including the family of Starfleet Lieutenant Jasminder Choudhury. Mallarashtra was the location of the Crescent Valley Retreat, a noted vacation spot. A freak blizzard hit Mallarashtra sometime circa the 2340s, when Choudhury was five years old.
