Jefferson Hall is an actor. He recently appeared in the BBC's latest adaptation of Emma. Currently, he plays main character Torstein in History Channel's Vikings. In Game of Thrones he played Ser Hugh of the Vale. He was announced in the role on 16 July 2010. He is currently starring the BBC/FX period drama series Taboo, along with his Game of Thrones co-stars Jonathan Pryce, Nicholas Blane, Oona Chaplin, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, and Mark Gatiss.
