The Taalan'a was a Telian Jaaline-veh Cruiser class spacecraft from the Telian Space Protectorate, with a long and varied list of accomplishments. On a routine scouting and exploration mission near the Lanabb Nebula, the crew of the ship was infected by what was later identified and labelled as the Viilt-ah Plague virus. There were no survivors of the infection and the ship remains to this day in a highly guarded containment facility. The mission is popularly referred to in Telian culture as the Taalan'a Incident .
