Red Peasant International, generally called by its Russian abbreviation Krestintern, was an international peasants organization formed by the Communist International in October 1923. The Communists sought to compete with Agrarians for the support of the peasantry in eastern Europe. The Agrarians had organized into the International Agrarian Bureau. Member organizations of Krestintern (incomplete list): Vietnamese national leader Ho Chi Minh was working in the standing committee of Krestintern in the mid-1920s.
