Brint was assigned to lead a mission to destroy a new Thal weapon development facility. This was his first field command and he made several mistakes. Davros, the scientist attached to the mission, overruled him repeatedly. After the surviving members of the team fled into the wastelands at the mission's conclusion, Brint handed over command to Davros and abandoned them. He was stung by a Varga plant and began mutating into one. When he was later found by Davros, he begged for help, but Davros refused to give it and left him behind. (AUDIO: Purity)
