About halfway through Nusakan Thornwood, there is a large boulder blocking the path leading from Hassaleh Port into Sheratan. A man herding a flock of Caplins is stuck on the Port side along with Sagi, Guillo, and Milly. He tells them that a Yesterbean is needed to move the boulder out of the way, and asks Sagi to fetch one for him. Unfortunately, the Yesterbean is eaten by a resident Balloona before they can get to it. The monster flees when pursued, and can only be stopped by pushing a spiny plant into its path and chasing it into said plant. The Balloona will deflate, leaving the Yesterbean behind for Sagi to take back to the Caplin Herder. The Yesterbean stimulates the growth of the thorny plants nearby, and the extending vines push the boulder off of the path and out of the way.
