The Humbling River is a river of both great renown, and great unknown. It's said that whatever lies deep within the river's forests contains the secrets of every individual's deepest desires. But no one has ever been able to cross the river, and it has been known to pull in those unworthy, where they're never to be seen again. Its history has been shrouded in a mix of fact and fairytale, but its existence has been spoken of for centuries. Some say the river was crossed by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, and it was ancient even when she did. Others say her sons crossed the river as well. Whether the legends are true or not, its existence seems to predate the existence of the Ōtsutsuki's presence in the world.
