Goodles are the grinning imp-like Nightmarens that usually ride colorful birds, as seen in NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. Goodles also carry keys to NiGHTS' cage as well as other gates ultimately leads to Second-Level Nightmaren boss fights. Towards the end of the game, the keys that are carried lead to Wizeman the Wicked himself. In this way, they are more important than the more common Third-Level Nightmaren. Another example of their importance to Reala's constant reliance of them to guard the keys to NiGHTS' cage which is a vital task considering how badly Wizeman wishes to have NiGHTS returned.
