In 2266, Yeoman Janice Rand brought Captain James T. Kirk dietary salad after Doctor Leonard McCoy changed his diet card due to Kirk's having gained two pounds of body weight. She offered to get him something else, but Kirk instead asked her to bring some for McCoy as well. The doctor dodged the offer, saying he never ate before the rest of the crew did.
