The Dannon Prize was a civilian decoration that was made by the Terrans. It was named after senior councilman Abraham Dannon who had helped end the Earth-Romulan War by offering peace terms to the Romulan Star Empire thus ending a war that was devastating to both sides. Though he was a controversial and despised figure for what was percieved an act of weakness by giving away too much territory to the Romulans, his contributions to peace led to an award being named after his death Stardate 1/1303.21.
