Drobna was a Sea Rogue, a member of the crew of the Goreleech. We know nothing of his past, nor of his life on the Goreleech; the only thing we know of him is a short conversation he had with Vilu Daskar. Vilu Daskar was passing by trying figure why the small Sayna would pursue his much larger ship. As he passed, he tried to reconcile their reckless behavior, asking Drobna, "What chance does a minnow have if it chases a shark?"
