Population: 36,000 Breakdown: 74% Lunite, 9% Human, 8% Timonae, 6% Vollistan, 4% Miscellaneous Set on three close-together islands in the Kingfisher Sea on New Luna, St. Benedict was settled in early 3001 by Benedictine Growers, a wine grape growing company started by a pair of reformed Specialists from Sivad. As the business grew, so did the infrastructure, and soon the islands were being used as a gathering point for miners who mined the northeastern mountains. By September of 3002, the city was given its charter as New Luna's seventh city-state.
