Kiel's Morning Star was once the property of Kiel, the first-born son and oldest child of Durlag Trollkiller and Islanne. Kiel died while fighting the doppelgangers who invaded his father's tower. He also has a buckler that can be found in the same chest near his grave and a helmet that can be found near the throne earlier on. The morning Star is the most powerful morning Star and spiked weapon, but it is also cursed. Just like the cursed sword from Brage, this will also berserk the wielder when it's wielded. This weapon, however, can be wielded in combination with a shield. It has a bonus to damage and thaco of +3, a speed factor of 4 and weighs 10 lbs. This item appears in Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.
