Roran trains with the Varden. He is summoned by Nasuada, who asks him to go to Aroughs with Martland Redbeard. He accepts, and in return asks permission for Eragon to marry him and Katrina when he gets back. Nasuada agrees and decides that some of her dwarven treasure will be their dowry.
