The unnamed Coach Driver collected his passengers at Manchester Central Coach Station among who were Sophie Webster and Sian Powers who were running away to get married in Scotland after they had been refused parental permission to do the same in Weatherfield. Getting wind of their plans, Sally and Rosie Webster went after them but the driver refused to allow them on the coach as they didn't have tickets. Celebrity wannabe Rosie tried the "do you know who I am?" routine on him which predictably failed but the girls didn't go on the journey after Sally gave them her reluctant blessing.
