Stresscrete was an inexpensive, dark gray building material. When used properly, it formed durable hard floors and walls. If improperly mixed or set, it could crack and crumble over time. It was less expensive than ceramic permacrete and was typically used for structures that needed to be built quickly and used only temporarily.
