Mox was a Ferengi male and a DaiMon of the Runyon, a Ferengi research vessel. Mox once visited Quark's on Deep Space 9. During his visit, Jani Tharen arranged passage to the Gamma Quadrant on Mox's ship and paid him upfront, but found that Mox soon increased the price. Feeling cheated, Tharen bit Mox's lobes.
