Tönning International Airport is an airport in Tönning, Nordfriesland in the Great Scottish Republic . It was opened on the 7th September 2007 after being built as a result of the 2004 Airports and Aviation Act, which required several airports to be built throughout the GSR. In 2009 the airport was used by 1.4 million passengers, a 3.2% increase from 2008.
