Clan Beviin was a clan of Mandalorians. The most famous clan member was the legendary Aurek who fought during the Cold War and later the Second Great Galactic War, overshadowing his ancestor with whom he shared a name. Drawing its name from the Mando'a word beviin which translated to "lance" in Basic. Clan Beviin was an ancient clan of Mandalorians that could trace its lineage as far back as the Great Sith War. Over time, due to their strong connection to the Force, some members have joined multiple Force-based organizations such as the Sith group the Brotherhood of Darkness, and the Jedi Order, though most minded their Mandalorian heritage.
