The Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) is the standard HIPAA code set for reporting supplies, orthotic and prosthetic devices, and durable medical equipment. In combination with the Current Procedure Terminology code (CPT), it is also used to report physician and other health care services.
