Laie Water Company (established in 1991) operates the water system for the community of Laie and surrounding agricultural properties, delivering pure water from a basal aquifer deep beneath the ground. Laie Shopping Center (built in 1969) provides more than two dozen commercial and professional services in a 72,000-square-foot retail complex. From hardware to health care, the center serves a wide range of needs for the entire North Shore community.
