In 2369, while in his shop aboard Deep Space 9, Elim Garak offered to show silk lingerie from this planet to the Klingon sisters Lursa and B'Etor. (DS9: "Past Prologue") This planet was only mentioned in dialogue. According to StarTrek.com, the pronunciation for Kraus was "krowss". The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 442) located Kraus IV in the Kraus system.
