The Devourer Legionnaire is the standard foot soldier of the Red Wasp Gang recently encountered by the New Republic in the Skewfar System. The droid's primary weapon is a heavy blaster rifle incorporated into its left arm, which NRI believes to be inspired by the CIS' late super battle droid. It is a rather crude, but powerful weapon with oversized Xciters and weak galvenry circuitry. Consequently, it's bolts are more powerful and less cohesive(and have a shorter range) than the average blaster rifle. The right arm incorporates an integrated flamethrower with enough ammunition for only a few sustained flame bursts. This weapon tends to make the droid extremely dangerous at close ranges.
