The 1959 Wilkes 160 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at North Wilkesboro Speedway on October 18, 1959. Eventual season champ Lee Petty led all 160 laps in route to a strong victory over Rex White. Petty clinched the championship with his win. Stats
