The Qabjech Exploratory Fleet was a military unit within the Klingon Empire that was assigned the mission to extend the empire's territory near the Galactic Rim in the Beta Quadrant. The fleet engaged both the Romulan Star Empire and the Sha'Kurian Ducal Territories in the period between 2282 and 2286 resulting in heavy losses sustained however did open up a large number of conquered star systems for the empire. Captain K'mak was assigned to this fleet and his excellent service record saved the fleet's mission which earned him a promotion to brigadier at the end of his tour.
