A Wiccan is a follower of the neo-pagan religion, Wicca. In "The Southern Vampire Mysteries", a series of books by New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris, there are several wiccans. Most believe in magic, a force which allows them to manipulate outcome. Due to the strong compassion in the religion of Wicca, Wiccans cast benevolent spells to help others and themselves in positive ways (good fortune, health, etc.).
