Matbro Bray was a trading name used for a time by Matbro Ltd after they acquired the Bray company and its line of wheeled loaders and other construction machinery in 1973. The name was used from ~ 1980 after the 2 operations were merged following the death of the Leonard Mathews the founder of Matbro & his brother. Bray Construction Machinery Ltd had operated as a separate company run by John Mathews son of Leonard. Main article: Matbro
