Yggdra is fleeing from pursuing Bronquian forces. Milanor, a thief, is nicknamed "Silver Wolf." Bronquian forces have razed his home in an attempt to find Yggdra. Milanor must fight off the Bronquian forces and their commander, an unnamed Valkyrie. After the battle, Milanor finds the hiding Princess Yggdra. Yggdra asks for Milanor's help in retaking castle Paltina. Milanor agrees after being offered "anything" by Yggdra, and specifically requesting the castle. They agree the first move should be to rendezvous with the Fantasinian Third Cavalry - which helped Yggdra escape in the first place - located in Western Orlando.
