The NU-B34 autonomous digger was a thickly armored, tracked fifth-degree droid used by the Corporate Alliance, the Commerce Guild, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The NU-B34 was manufactured by subsidaries and allies under the Corporate Alliance, and the miners of the Commerce Guild also used it extensively. Following the execution of the Separatist Council by Darth Sidious's new apprentice, Darth Vader, these units were de-activated. However, the basic concept was adopted by other miners after the war.
