The Base Set of 2005 Topps All Time Fan Favorites consists of 142 cards, primarily retired ballplayers with many retired stars and Hall of Fame players. The card designs are based on previous Topps base sets with new photography for every player. The set also includes several executives, radio announcers and general managers. Also notable is the inclusion of John Elway, who was drafted by the New York Yankees before deciding to play football.
