Newhall was a neighborhood in the Los Angeles, California area, about twenty miles north of the city. After CHP Officer Brown found the body of Carla Matheson in their trunk, Kim Bauer, Miguel, and Megan Matheson were taken to the sheriff's station in Newhall.
