Jaylin Kumar was a scoundrel of first class, and a good friend of Cadden Blackthorne. His father, Belyn Kumar, was a member of Naboo's RSF, until the fall of the Republic, whereupon he joined up with the Alliance. Rather than following his father's footsteps, however, Jaylin went into smuggling and mercenary work. He owned the Nomad's Pride, a modified HWK-290 transport. Though Jaylin was small-time, he had a big-time attitude, and enough skill to survive, and it was all he could ever want. He adventured the galaxy alongside his trusty R2 unit, Tannis.
