Faatin Amal was a spy of the Iranian intelligence service, VEVAK and who was also responsible for framing Israeli and NCIS/Mossad Liaison Officer Ziva David for the death of two FBI Agents and a former Syrian colonel, in an attempt to have the United States break relations with Israel. This would weaken Israel, which gets most of its military support from the United States, against the anti-Semitic/anti-Zionist Iran. Luckily, though, Ziva managed to win the fight against Faatin and even obtained a recording of Faatin's confession.
