The 'Floating Vehicle' was a flying method of transport used in the Hylden City by the Hylden, presumably to ferry cargo across the Hylden City. In The Living End (chapter), Kain first saw the Floating Vehicle when he entered the 'main square' of the Hylden City. As Kain conversed with two slaves, the vehicle flew by and they indictaed that the vehicle (referred to only as "that") was the only way to reach the Shield Generator Building as the doors to the building were inactive.
