The Iprasa "colony" was established for the single purpose of military training. For centuries, Kartanin soldiers have finalized their military training here and on the moon Itaka before they were considered ready for service with the Kartanin warfleet. The planet Iprasa housed the bulk of the training facilities, as well as a space dock and a number of orbital stations used in wargames. Both Iprasa and Itaka are protected by one of the many restricted areas in the system. Civilian starships entering the area can expect swift interception and severe repercussions.
