Doji Asuki was an Emerald Magistrate that was sent to represent the Crane Clan at Winter Court in 1168. He was driven to find the truth behind the War of Silk and Steel, and almost left the court at one point to investigate in Dragon lands. He remained at Winter Court however, participating in a few criminal investigations, waging political warfare with the Scorpion Clan and accompanied the Protector of the Imperial City Bayushi Norachai to the capital for a week. Most notably was however his torrid romance with fellow magistrate Hida Shara, which sparked rumors that the two were soon to marry.
