Gorgor was a Member of The Sinestro Corps from Space Sector 3215 sent to find and kill Sinestro for betraying the Yellow Light of Fear and his Sinestro Corps that he himself created. He came to Earth and lured out Sinestro, along with Hal Jordan, by staging a bridge collapse. Once the two arrive to save everyone and fix the bridge, he comes out and attacks Sinestro and tells him that the Sinestro Corps are no longer following his rules as their Leader and they have enslaved Sinestro's home Planet of Korugar. But before he can kill Sinestro, the once again Green Lantern creates a Sword Construct and kills him.
