Like its counter part summons, this summoning creates a gigantic circular watermill like structure between the summoner and the opponent. This gate is apparently capable of reflecting or repelling chakra based attack, since it was able to reflect Shirou Uchiha’s Amaterasu. Together with the Gate of Truth, Gate of Virtue, and Gate of Sacrifice it forms the Four Gates Sealing Barrier technique.
