The Leopard Man, Dick Walsh, was a bearded jungle lord who had trained leopards and wore a leopard skin loincloth. He traveled with his friends Basuta, war chief of the Nandi, and the young pygmy leader Nikki-Tikki. Together the group escorted the boy Ken Hammond on adventures in the jungles as they tried to return him to his father.
